Changing the Tune
Our Sustainability Journey Begins
Music Tribe’s goal has always been to provide the world’s music and audio community with products that inspire them as well as impact their lives positively. Now, we’re taking the first steps toward reducing our carbon footprint and making an even bigger positive impact on the world.
Our first goal in long-term sustainability is a complete shift towards sustainable packaging.
This includes the use of recycled and compostable materials in the packaging itself such as bio-foam, online collaterals to reduce printing physical manuals, and quick start guides as well as developing processes that increase efficiency and support automation. We can even integrate compostable substrates in our adhesives and inks that maintain the same strength and quality without the harmful environmental effects of their petroleum-based counterparts still widely used.
Effective branding will also help convey our sustainability efforts.
We aim to share with our Customers that they are part of our journey in taking steps toward becoming a more environmentally sustainable organization. With a short message on the outside, we assure them that the box they are holding is made to break down naturally.
Apart from our efforts to help the environment, we want our Customers to know that we are giving back to the community as well. Upon opening the package customers will be greeted by the Uli Behringer Foundation purpose. This message highlights our new mantra and makes it known that we want to utilize our business as a force for good and support those in marginalized communities.
Once we meet our objective, these practices can then be applied to our products with the goal of making them more energy efficient while using recycled materials.
With the resources we save through our sustainability efforts, we can also improve the lives of our Tribers by creating green and energy efficient workplaces for them.
It Doesn’t Stop There
We can dive into and change so many more aspects of how we live to become a more environmentally conscious and sustainable Tribe.
Further material and process innovations, the use of more renewable energy, or even through engaging governments and NGOs to support more environmental protection policies are just the tip of the iceberg of being an environmentally responsible organization.
We’ve only just begun and what an exciting
beginning it’s going to be.
